ICPC Season 2024-2025 Throwback

Overview

The International Collegiate Programming Contest (ICPC) is the world's oldest, largest, and most prestigious programming competition for university students. To qualify for the World Final, teams (in Asia Pacific region) must go through university-level round, national round, regional round, and Asia Pacific Championship. Our team reached the Asia Pacific Championship. Although we didn’t make it to the World Final, the journey was full of unforgettable memories and experiences.

Teammates

Our team was slowforce, composing of Aidar Munduzbaev, Hoang Ngoc Bao Khue, and me. I was fortunate to have such strong teammates. Aidar is the legend of his country, with the first ever silver medal at IOI for Kyrgyzstan. Khue is the World Finalist of ICPC 2024, with the max rating of 2680 on Codeforces.

Results

Our team got Gold Medal in ICPC Taichung Regional, and qualified for the ICPC Asia Pacific Championship (ICPC APAC). In ICPC APAC, Khue couldn't attend due to personal reasons, so we competed with only 2 members. We got 31st Place in the Championship, which is a great result for us.
